Privacy on HeyCosts

This notice describes the features currently available on HeyCosts.com. The site provides cost guides, browser-based calculators and a contact form. We update this notice when the way those features handle information changes.

Calculator entries

The budget and comparison tools calculate with the amounts you enter in your browser. These tool entries are not submitted to the server or stored in a customer account. Printing or saving a PDF uses your browser’s own print feature.

Contact messages

When you send a contact message, we receive the name, email address and message you provide. The message is stored privately in the WordPress website administration and is available to authorized administrators for handling the request. Please do not send sensitive financial, medical or identification information.

Technical information and cookies

The hosting service and website software may process technical information needed to deliver, secure and maintain the site, such as request logs. The contact form uses a security token and a short-lived rate limit to reduce abuse. Necessary administration or hosting functions may use cookies.

The custom HeyCosts theme does not add advertising pixels, session replay or cross-site advertising trackers. New analytics, marketing integrations or provider connections will need their own disclosure and any applicable choices before they are introduced.

External websites

Links to official agencies and other sources take you to websites with their own privacy practices. Read those practices before entering information there. A link does not send a loan, insurance or contractor application on your behalf.

Your questions and requests

You can use the contact form to ask about information you submitted, request a correction or request deletion. Describe the request without sending an identity document. We may need appropriate verification before acting. Rights and exceptions depend on the laws that apply to your situation.

Website hosting and service providers may process information where their systems operate. We do not promise that all processing takes place in the United States. For a question about the current site or this notice, contact HeyCosts through the form.
